🇲🇾 Mystical Malaysia – My 2nd International Travel Series

After exploring Thailand in my first international trip, it was time for another adventure — and this time, I chose Malaysia. ✈️

This journey covered two stunning destinations — Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi — each offering a completely different side of the country.

🏙️ Kuala Lumpur – The Modern Heart of Malaysia

The capital city welcomed me with skyscrapers, culture, and energy.
From the iconic Petronas Twin Towers to the colorful Batu Caves, KL is a mix of tradition and technology.

Top Experiences in Kuala Lumpur:

  • Standing beneath the glowing Twin Towers at night 🌆
  • Climbing the vibrant steps of Batu Caves 🛕
  • Watching the sunset from KL Tower
  • Enjoying street food at Bukit Bintang – Satay, Nasi Lemak & Durian ice cream!
  • Shopping at Central Market & Petaling Street for local souvenirs

Every corner of the city felt alive — and what I loved most was how safe, clean, and friendly everything felt for an Indian traveller.

🌴 Langkawi – Island Life Reloaded

After the city hustle, I flew to Langkawi, Malaysia’s most scenic island — and honestly, it felt like paradise.

Best Places to Visit in Langkawi:

  • Sky Bridge & Cable Car 🚠 – breathtaking mountain views, among the steepest cable cars in the world!
  • Pantai Cenang Beach – beach vibes, food, and sunsets 🌅
  • Kilim Geoforest Park – mangrove boat ride, eagle feeding, and limestone caves
  • Eagle Square – Langkawi’s iconic landmark 🦅
  • Tanjung Rhu Beach – calm and peaceful escape from crowds
  • Seven Wells Waterfall – a short trek with nature all around

Langkawi gave me a perfect mix of adventure and peace — cable car rides, waterfalls, island food, and those golden sunsets that stay in your memory forever.

💡 For Indian Travellers

  • Visa: Apply online for Malaysia eVisa / MDAC, it’s quick and hassle-free.
  • Currency: Malaysian Ringgit (RM).
  • Language: English is widely spoken.
  • Best Time to Visit: November to April.
  • Food Tip: If you’re vegetarian, KL has Indian restaurants almost everywhere!

💭 Final Thoughts

This was my 2nd international trip, but it felt like my first real adventure after lockdowns and long breaks.
From KL’s skyline to Langkawi’s beaches, Malaysia truly surprised me — clean, organized, yet full of warmth and life.

Every trip teaches something new, and this one reminded me —
The world is too big to stop exploring. 🌍
